Make writing card messages as easy as quoting Uncle Ted

I’ve always loved a good, meaty quote. In fact, I keep a notebook specifically for the purpose of collecting quotes I like (a great habit to have if you follow the advice below).

Quotes are like sunbeams, lighting up and drawing your attention to some small, pleasant thought or wise morsel which gives your heart a lift.

Unlike sunbeams, though, quotes can be gathered and shared with others into whose lives you wish to shed some intellectual sunshine.

One way to start sharing favorite quotes is to write them down inside greeting cards. You can let the quote stand on its own or add a short personal note underneath it, perhaps explaining why you chose the quote and what it means to you.

Quote sharing is an excellent way to immediately start writing meaningful card messages.

Remember, you don’t have to limit your quotes selection to books and poetry. You can also use quotes from movies, TV shows, Scripture, or song lyrics.

If you need help finding a good quote, I highly recommend checking out this website:

The lady who runs this site has compiled a good selection of quotes for lots of different occasions.

Just remember to give credit to whom your quoting.
